Build a Piece of Furniture You'll Keep for Life
Woodworking course dates are now open for 2026! Spend a weekend in a beautiful regional workshop, learn traditional skills, and leave with a handcrafted piece you made yourself.
Step away from the screen, slow down for a weekend, and experience the satisfaction of making something with your own hands.
Set in our off-grid workshop in the beautiful Indigo Valley of North East Victoria, our woodworking courses are designed for people who want to learn practical skills, work with natural materials, and create something that will last for generations.
Whether you've never picked up a chisel before or already have experience working with timber, our small-group workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn traditional woodworking techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You'll work with locally sourced and recycled timber, use a combination of machinery and hand tools, and leave with a handcrafted piece that you built yourself.
No mass production. No flat packs. Just good timber, good tools, and the rewarding process of making something from scratch.
Why Join a Course?
Because there is something deeply satisfying about creating an object with your own hands.
Our courses are about more than woodworking. They're about slowing down, learning practical skills, connecting with natural materials, and spending time immersed in the creative process.
Participants often tell us that the weekend feels like a reset — a chance to step away from busy schedules and focus on something tangible and meaningful.
By the end of the course, you'll head home with new skills, greater confidence, and a piece of furniture you'll proudly use for years to come.
There are two types of course you can sign up for:
